Connecting from Logic apps to Data factory using Managed Identity

Question

I am trying to trigger a pipeline run from a logic app. When I create a connection for Azure Data Factory (using service principal), I only see the option to connect via Client Id/Client secret and not via managed identity.

Can we not connect from Logic Apps to Azure Data factory using managed identity ? Need some information on this.

Unfortunately using managed identity to connect to Azure Data Factory is not possible while invoking Data Factory from Azure Logic Apps. You can post your feedback on Uservoice so that community can upvote and helps products team to prioritize this feature into their future release plans.
