Which license allows domain join and device management?

I am trying to determine which license allows for domain join to Entra and allows device management. I looked at the pricing page and it seems that the free version may allow for domain joining, but I am not sure.

Additionally, what are the device management limitations for the free version? If I want to use Intune for device management, which license do I need?

To domain join to Entra and allow device management, you need a Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 license. The free version of Microsoft Entra ID allows for device registration but not device management. If you want to use Intune for device management, you need a Microsoft Endpoint Manager license, which includes Intune.
