MFA app not working when logging in to Azure/VisualStudio

Question

The Authenticator app is being using on a second generation iPhone. The notification gets sent to my phone when logging in to all other services and other than https://company-name.visualstudio.com. I can log in to other Azure/VisualStudio domains (i.e. https://company-name-2.visualstudio.com) as well as outlook etc but for some reason this single service will not work. On other services I also have the opportunity to use phone number verification, but not here.

Things I've tried:

• Reinstalling Auth app
• Removing/adding device
• Logging in on different browser
• Using OTP from Auth app

Thanks for your question.

I will recommend you test on a different device if possible. The authenticator support is for iOS 15 or later. If this is not possible, Try removing https://company-name.visualstudio.com from your Microsoft Authenticator and re-registering it. This might refresh the connection.
