Why has my Authenticator app stopped sending/receiving push notifications required for sign-ins?

App is for company use and for one of the websites requiring Authenticator, upon signing in, it prompts me top send a push which has until recently worked just fine, but has now stopped. When trying the alternative “enter code” option, the code always gets rejected as being incorrect.
