How to add article back to a replication, the destination table is already existing and has data. I think it is previously on the replication but was untagged only from the publication but did not drop the article properly on te subscriber how to sync it

How to add article back to a replication but the destination table is already existing and has data. I think it is previously on the replication but was untagged from the publication and was not drop the article on the subscriber. How to properly sync it. Do I just add article back to the publication and exec sp_refreshsubcriptions we have a pull setup
