Power Automate triggers and actions - Is there a documentation that can explain that power automate will only trigger once new file is created and will not look for previous files in the folder in case new file did not come?

Hello,

We're building an automation to send automatic email alerts. The trigger use is when a new file is created in SharePoint. Our client would like to verify that the action will not happen if there are no new files created and it will not send the alerts from previous/old files.

Please help with the documentation.
