Bereavement

Hi, I am an Executor on the Will of one of my siblings who very recently passed away.

I have been trying to contact someone in Microsoft to discuss the process/procedure to close the account and release contents of emails, address book and contact list so I can execute my probate duties, but I have had little success.

I spoke with a Microsoft Support call agent today who was unable to provide any guidance on who I should contact or what the process/procedure for bereavement support services was.  After being on the call for 40 mins the call agent was only able to advise me to contact Corporate on +14258828080.  I was exasperated that there was no Microsoft email address for bereavement support where I could register my request and make initial contact on.

Surely there must be an easier, swifter and more compassionate process for dealing with bereavement related support queries.

Any guidance or assistance from the Microsoft Community on what I need to do would be welcomed.  Thank you.
