How to configure Microsoft 365 plan for development?
Hello.
I have issue with Microsoft 365 developer subscription. I joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, but in message it was stated "You don't current qualify for a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription".
I found article https://devblogs.microsoft.com/microsoft365dev/stay-ahead-of-the-game-with-the-latest-updates-to-the-microsoft-365-developer-program/ and according to it I should to buy the Microsoft 365 plan.
The questions are:
1 Is it ok to buy Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan?
2 How exactly to configure it for development only? I need to test Microsoft Graph API and Outlook, also I need to register my app with Microsoft identity platform.
Previously, Microsoft 365 developer subscription made everything ready to use.

It says the developer subscription is available if you are an Enterprise subscriber to Visual Studio but the Visual Studio plan pages and other places say it's available with Pro.
It also says that a standard subscription can be configured for development and then does not say how.
Honestly, Microsoft really should burn their web presence to the ground and start fro scratch, it is so impossibly confusing. It feels like deliberate obfuscation.
