I Upgraded to the latest version of Entra Connect, but it doesn't sync in M365.

We were using synchronized AD servers and MS365 accounts. At some point, synchronization stopped, and upon investigation, we discovered that Azure AD Sync had been transitioned to a program called Entra Connect and was no longer supported.

Therefore, we decided to upgrade the old program to the new version, Entra Connect. However, since Entra Connect does not operate on the existing AD server OS, which was 2012, we had to install a new server with the latest OS(Window Server 2022). After completing the AD migration, we installed Entra Connect.

We exported the configuration settings from the old version of Azure AD Sync and successfully completed the installation using the import option in Entra Connect.

However, even though the AD server indicated that synchronization was complete, MS 365 still shows that synchronization is not occurring, and as expected, the accounts are not being synchronized.

How can we resolve this issue?

    Have you seen any export error or Permissions & Inheritance and connect status error which has shown in the below image.

    Also, could you please confirm below.
    Have you made any Custome synchronization rules?

    Check the synchronization logs for any errors or warnings.
    Check that the User Principal Name (UPN) suffix is verified with your Microsoft Entra tenant If the UPN suffix is not verified, it can cause synchronization issues.
