Can I use my own custom DIY gaming adapter to use privately, offline and on my own in single player games on my Xbox

Hi there!

I have one quick question today. If I try and create my own custom DIY gaming adapter for use in single player games on Xbox to obtain custom features and alter gameplay, will I get permanently banned on Xbox? I have not done anything like this yet, but I am asking this now, so that I don’t do anything wrong that violates Xbox terms of service/use. I am very aware that on Xbox, you can’t do anything like this online, but is this allowed for single player games? The main reason I am asking this is because I only have an Xbox Series S and a PC that isn’t the best for modding games and I really want to mod games legally, but sadly I can’t get a proper gaming PC and I really want to mod single player games on my Xbox legally and ethically, so I am asking if I can create my own custom gaming adapter to use it in single player games on my own, offline, and privately. I just really wish I could do this, since I can’t get a gaming PC. Anyway, thanks if you have read all of this and an in-depth answer to this question would be greatly appreciated.
