Microsoft ICE issue with changing exposure

Using Microsoft ICE, (image composite editor), I am trying to accurately stitch 2D images of a soil core into 1 long photo. Sometimes it works perfectly, but I have noticed that ICE changes the exposure of my photos, and ruins the outputted stitched image. I have attached photos here of an example. Is there a setting I can turn off so that it stops trying to change the photos? In the before photo, they are all normal, but when it mosaics them, it changes the photo exposure.User's image

@Aimetti, Cassie did you resolve your issue? I saw that another user has solved this using a short python script. I have asked for the script but haven't heard a reply yet. This is my resulting image. Same effect as yours.User's image

I used PT Gui and got this result however it takes 30 min to produce this image ...

Much better result but unacceptable time to create the proper control points between overlapping images. some of the auto control points generated were acceptable, but not very good overall as the right side of the core box swings up significantly.
