Update Compliance Duplicate Computers

I am using GPOs to enable Windows Update for Business on my Windows 10 computers and then sending the data to Update Compliance for monitoring. I have 2 issues though.

  1. computer names are missing for some computers
  2. duplicate computer IDs

The policy to send computers names is configured correctly. But every single reporting computer has 2 entries when I run the query to show waasupdatestatus or any query really so it shows far more device and problems than exist. Twice as many.

Windows Components/Data Collection and Preview Builds

Allow device name to be sent in Windows diagnostic data Enabled
Allow Telemetry Enabled
1 - Basic

Policy Setting Comment
Configure the Commercial ID Enabled
redacted

Anything I should check?

Windows 10
Windows 10
A Microsoft operating system that runs on personal computers and tablets.

You'll need to tell it to enable provision of the devicename as its an opt-in setting. Had Update Compliance up for a few weeks now and have found that the missing names tend to get populated after a few days. Its almost like it doesn't pull them in on first pass.
As for the duplicates, I noticed this yesterday after the Monday evening scan. I exported a list on Monday and done the same on Tues but it had twice the number. Suspect it could be a back-end issue as nothing has changed on the endpoints and especially if its happening to you as well so an going to run the gauntlet of logging a ticket.
    Will report back...
