Recovery Services Vault Contentes not consistent with on prem MABS server

I have a legacy MABS V3 server (W2016). It's not being used for backups, only for recovering long term archives.

When I view the contents of the associated Azure Recovery Vault it show many items that I have previously deleted from the MABS server (usually from the "Inactive protection for previously protected data" view )

Given that the items in the vault claim to be of some size (100's of GB) I presume I'm being charged for them (even though I've already attempted to delete them)

Any ideas how to zap these items?

regards

Thank you for contacting us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

Request you to please provide a screen shot by clicking on view details tab on Backup Iteam page for a data source which you have deleted from MABS Server. Also, provide a screen shot from MABS ->Protection Tab to be sure that it is deleted.

Sometime, there is a sync issue between MABS Server and Portal due to which the backup items still show on Portal. If you could provide me the details maybe I could help you to get to a resolution for this issue.
