If the one user has an Microsoft 365 License with Microsoft 365 Apps included you can install just that and let him activate the license with his Microsoft 365 account. It is supported on server 2022 according too the documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/endofsupport/windows-server-support You can also license the Microsoft 365 Apps separately for a user if you don't need Microsoft 365 services. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/microsoft-365-apps-for-enterprise-product?msockid=3fae50b0c57962241aed44fac43163e5&activetab=pivot:overviewtab

I have a Microsoft 365 Business EEA subscription (without Teams).

I installed Office on the server and logged into my account. However, after some time, I am automatically logged out, and this keeps happening repeatedly. What could be the problem?

Session tokens can expire. How often all depends on the configuration of your Microsoft 365 configuration. As soon as you activate a M365 Apps install with an account it should stay active for up to a month until you need to reactivate it. (If not installed in Shared Device mode.)

It's part of the Self Service password reset registration setting. It will give you 14 days to register security authentication methods.

To turn off Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) registration in Azure Active Directory (AD), you can follow these steps:

Access https://entra.microsoft.com/

Navigate to Protection > Password Reset: In the left-hand navigation pane.

Configure Registration: Set Require users to register when signing in to No. This will prevent users from being prompted to register for SSPR when they sign in.

Save Changes: Click Save to apply the changes.

By doing this, users will not be forced to register for SSPR during sign-in, but they can still manually register if needed by visiting the SSPR setup page.
