I signed in to my school account yesterday for the first time. I had to download the authenticator app for it to sign in and I did so and it worked. today I had a problem signing in the school email on my mail application on my phone so I thought that by deleting the authenticator app I would be able to sign in using my password. but that didn't happen. when I reinstalled the app again the email was locked out and I can't sign in again and it needs two steps verification which i dont have access to. so now so I am not receiving notifications on the authenticator app to enable me to sign in anywhere. I contacted support on Microsoft live chat and they told me to write my problem here.

    Hi Razan,

You will need to reach out to your school's IT department/IT administrator to reset your MFA methods.

If you deleted the app and didn't backup the app, then you are currently locked out.
