Unable to login to directory as the sole admin

Hi,

I have an issue where I am trying to switch or login to an Azure Active directory as the only admin, but am not able to complete the Multi Factor Authentication as my phone has broken. In this case, my alternative log in options all require my phone (which I cannot access), and there is no ability to clear my MFA settings as my directory only has one admin (the account I'm trying to log in with).

Is there any way to recover access to my directory?

I need to log into my directory to reset MFA on my account and create a backup admin account (to avoid this in the future).
I have apps registered on this directory which are in test environments, and so I would like to avoid deleting the directory entirely and creating a new one.

    @Christopher Blignaut
    Thank you for your post!

    When it comes to Azure MFA, did you ever add an alternative method to sign in to your account, such as through your office phone, Microsoft Authenticator app, etc.? If not, unfortunately, you'll have to either get your phone fixed so you can log in or reach out to your organization's Help desk for assistance.

    You can also try changing your verification methods using your MyProfile page to hopefully help with signing in.

    Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.

    @JamesTran-MSFT
    Thanks for the response James.

    Unfortunately my only alternative login method uses the authenticator app but the app is on the broken phone, and the app data is not backed up so that I can recover it on another phone.

    Also, my organizations help desk does not have access to the directory I am trying to access, and they cannot help. My user is the only user in the directory currently, so there is no other admin user that can log in to reset the MFA.

    It seems that there is no way to access, leave or delete this directory/organization as my phone is not repairable.
