How to recover apps saved in my authenticator?

Hi there. So my old Samsung S8 died unexpectedly and so far I am unable to use it at all. I installed the Microsoft Authenticator app on my new phone, but after logging in, it only had my saved passwords still listed. Any apps I had using the Authenticator for 2 factor authentication are no longer listed. I have been trying to get access to my Facebook account but it keeps asking for my code from the Authenticator app. Since I cannot add Facebook back to the app (you need access to the Facebook account to authorise it), I cannot recover my Facebook account. I have tried the many various methods that Facebook give me, but it always ends up saying it needs the Authenticator code. There seems to be no way to speak to an actual person within Facebook to resolve the issue so I am attempting to seek help from the Microsoft community to fix it via the Authenticator. How can I recover the Facebook account back into my Authenticator app as I do not understand how it had still all my saved password information, but not the apps used for authentication.
