How to remove Windows 11 Password Login, I want to make it so that no password is needed.

I am trying to setup my new HP LAPTOP and it asked to create Windows 11 - Hello PIN, I didn't want to have the pin but there was no option to skip it.

Then after the setup the Laptop started up and I went to SETTINGS> ACCOUNTS> SIGN-IN OPTIONS> WINDOWS HELLO PIN> REMOVE

Unchecked the Use Windows Hello for login option.

Restarted the laptop.

It now asks for the password I have for my Microsoft account.

I want to make it so that I don't need to enter any password or Windows hello pin to access the laptop.

Can someone help me out please?

    Hi Rahul,

    I'm Amr, an independent advisor.

Try these methods to remove Windows 11 password Login

    1. Disable password login on Windows
    1. In the search box next to the Start icon type netplwiz and click the top result to open the Control Panel applet.
    2. Under the “Users for this computer” section, select the account to remove its password.
    3. Clear the “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option.

Note If the option is missing, follow these steps

Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and turn off the “For improved security, only allow Windows Hellow sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device” option and reopen the netplwiz applet.

    1. Click the Apply button.
    2. Confirm the Microsoft account credentials to log in automatically.
    3. Click the OK button.
    4. Click the OK button again.
    1. Remove the password for the Microsoft account
    1. Open Settings then click on Accounts.
    2. Click the Your info tab.
    3. Under the Account settings section, click the “Sign in with a local account instead” option.
    4. Click the Next button.
    5. Confirm your current password.
    6. Click the Next button.
    7. Create a username for the account.
    8. Use blank for the “Password” and “Reenter password” options to remove the password entirely.
    9. Click the Next button.
    10. Click the “Sign out and finish” button.

After you complete the steps, the laptop will no longer connect with a Microsoft account and will log you in automatically every time you start the system.

I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.

    Best Regard

    Amr

Tried to follow your instructions, "Note If the option is missing, follow these steps
Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and turn off the “For improved security, only allow Windows Hellow sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device” option and reopen the netplwiz applet"

but there is no option for this in settings, sign-in options.on my computer. I running Wondows 11 ver.22H2

I only have an administrative account. Following these instructions I found these results:

Option 1: "netplwiz" - The “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option does not exist. There is a box, instead, which reads "To change your password, press Ctrl-Alt-Del and select Change Password." Yet this only allows for the change of a password and not the removal of a password.

Option 1b: "Settings > Accounts >" - “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device” option is nowhere to be found.

Option 2: "Account settings" -  “Sign in with a local account instead” option is nowhere to be found.

HOW is removing a password this complicated and seemingly inconsistent?

    What I did was...

    SETTINGS > ACCOUNTS > SIGN-IN OPTIONS

    Scroll down to Password

-if it says "You're all setup", it means you are still required to enter password when starting up your laptop

    Click on CHANGE

-you will have to enter your current password, then it will open up a new window where you will have to change to a new password. DON'T INPUT ANY PASSWORDS. Leave it all blank, then click NEXT.

Restart your laptop. (This worked for me. No typing of passwords ever again. LOL)
