Allow users view local administrator password by using LAPS desktop app.

Hi All,

I have successfully created a LAPS policy in the Intune portal under Endpoint Security | Account Protection. The policy is working well, and I can find the password in the Intune portal.

My question is: What additional configuration is needed to allow the local admin to query the computer's local administrator account using the LAPS desktop app?

Also, if I use my own AAD account to open the LAPS desktop app, which roles do I need to assign to this account?

I would appreciate it if you could provide step-by-step guidance.
