So I've recently upgraded my pc with new hardware. I ended up needing some help from a pc repair place that suggested moving my os to the new ssd for a faster start-up. I took them up on the offer, however I'm now having trouble signing into the newest version of windows. I input the correct number on the authenticator app and then it asks for my password; but it always says it's wrong, even after changing the password.

    Hello,

Check Two-Factor Authentication: If you are using two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, ensure that the time and date settings on your new hardware are correct. Incorrect time settings can lead to authentication errors with the authenticator app.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your PC has a stable and active internet connection. Sometimes, authentication errors can occur if there is no or limited internet access during the sign-in process.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian

Logging on through the accounts tab in the settings seems to have been causing the issue not sure why). Opening my browser and logging on on the website seems to have fixed it.
