Cannot Move Azure SQL Database resources to another region

Greetings!

I am trying to move my Azure SQL database resources from one region to another, but I encountered the error message "SQL server needs to be assigned manually." What should I do to resolve this issue?

    When attempting to move Azure SQL database resources from one region to another, you may encounter the error message "SQL server needs to be assigned manually." This occurs because moving the SQL server itself across regions is not supported. To resolve this issue, you need to create a new target server in the destination region and then move the resources from the source server to the new target server using Azure Resource Mover.

     Follow these steps to move your resources:

    1. Create a target server in the destination region.
    2. Move the resources from the source server to the target server using Azure Resource Mover.
    3. Configure any necessary logins and users on the target server.
