Grant the minimum Microsoft Graph application permission needed to read applications, with administrator consent, and query each application’s passwordCredentials and keyCredentials. Compare every endDateTime with your warning thresholds, such as 30, 14, and 7 days, and include the display name, application ID, credential identifier, expiry date, and owner in the alert. Send email through an approved connector and Slack through an approved workflow or webhook. Store the last notification so the job does not send the same alert every day, and also flag expired credentials or applications without owners. Protect webhook secrets and logs. Where possible, replace long-lived client secrets with managed identities, workload identity federation, or an automated certificate-rotation process.
