Hi, I'm trying to understand what types of groups can be assigned one of the following types of roles:

  • Billing Profile Owner
  • Billing Profile Contributor
  • Invoice Manager

I am also wondering if there are high privilege groups that cannot be assigned these roles. Lastly, I would be interested if these groups would show up when trying to retrieve the Group with an object id from Graph. Edit: Corrected the names of the roles I am interested in.

As far as I know, we do not have any billing group roles. I would like to understand how you came across these roles:

    • Billing Group Owner
    • Billing Group Contributor
    • Invoice Manager

Also, would like to know your requirements that demands these roles.

EDIT: @Denis-Cristian Petre AD groups can be granted these roles for Microsoft Customer Agreements - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/understand-mca-roles#manage-billing-roles-in-the-azure-portal

The groups here mean active directory groups.

    Hope this helps!
