We utilized AM Service to migrate several on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMs, following all phases of the process: replication, testing, and final migration. Once we completed these stages, we stopped replication and terminated the migration. Additionally, we incorporated thepicsapp.com into our workflow to manage and streamline our assets during the transition.

    Hello Rizwan Khan

Yes, it should be safe to delete Azure Migration Service resources after completing the migration. However, first verify that backup services are enabled for the migrated VMs.

Resources related to the migration service:

    • Replication appliances
    • Temporary storage accounts created for replication
    • Migration project resources in the Azure Migrate hub

Don’t forget to cleanup/delete the on-premises resources as well.

    Greetings Dominique
