For Synapse SQL Pool, I'm not sure any of those is really accurate. Also "database size" is an ambiguous concept.

One answer is how much data am I storing, which you can use the DMVs for:

    select sum(used_page_count) / 8.0 / 1024 total_size_mb
    from sys.dm_pdw_nodes_db_partition_stats

Another is "how much storage space am I being billed for"? Storage in Synapse SQL Pool is charged at about $23/TB/Month, and includes the size of the snapshots used to provide restore points for the database. And this is available in the Cost Analysis blade of your Resource Group or through the billing APIs.

    Hello @sakuraime ,
    Thank for the ask .
The actual size of the DB is 131072.00 MB . Well does not mean that you have that much data at this time . It includes both data and log files. This is the one which you get an option while creating the DB , screenshot attached .
