How to restrict user for not to copy, download, upload, save and print file which was stored on SharePoint?

Is it possible to apply below restriction folder wise in one single SharePoint site?

I want to restrict user not to copy, download, upload, save and print file which was stored on SharePoint? he can only view/read the file.

I want to create site for our Projects data and for that I want to create one SharePoint site and create department wise folder in that site and apply restriction on each folder. only department owner having full access on their departmental folder only and another user can have read only access but restrict other users do not copy, download, upload, save and print file. and same as configure for other departmental folders.

Please help us how to configure above mentioned restriction in SharePoint.

We are using Microsoft 365 Basic edition.

Hello Pinakin,

You have multiple options to restrict access.

• Go to Settings and click Site permissions.
• Select Advanced permissions settings.
• Choose Permission Levels and click Add a Permission Level.
• Create a custom permission level that only allows users to view pages, list items, and documents without download permissions.

Or

• After creating a site/subsite for document management, go to Site Settings.
• Click Site Permissions and then select Stop Inheriting Permissions. This will give the site unique permissions, allowing you to customize access.

In site permission I stop inherit permission and add one more customize permission View Only.

With the help of this permission, I can restrict user to upload, download, copy and delete but not able to restrict user to take print. User can take print.

Is it possible to restrict user to take print of all files stores in SharePoint site?

Please suggest if any settings / commands are available in SharePoint to restrict print to some selected users only.
