Unable to ASR between Tenant

Hi,

I am facing an issue replicating an Azure VM (Tenant A) to another Azure environment (Tenant B) using Azure Site Recovery (ASR). I have set up an ASR appliance to treat the Azure VM as a physical server.

However, the replication process fails with error IDs 31005 and 539 during the enable replication phase. Additionally, the svagent service is stopped and cannot be started.

So my question is:

  1. Can ASR replicate Azure VM between tenant? Even i create ASR appliance and using push and post agent installation but still failed when enable the replication.
  2. How can i make this work?

Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous

ASR doesn't support cross Tenant replication out of the box. As a workaround you can consider treating it as a Physical and it should work.

If the Svagents is not starting properly then you can try to uninstall and install it again. If there are any Antivirus try to disable it till the time you enable replication and check.
