Hello @Abhijit Shrikhande Thank you for reaching out to us through Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!
To use your Azure $50 monthly credit, you can activate it through your Visual Studio subscription benefits. However, if your organization is enrolled in an Azure Enterprise Agreement (EA), the process might differ. Here's what you can do:
- Check Your Visual Studio Subscription: Ensure that your Visual Studio subscription is active and that you have access to the Azure credit benefit.
- Consult Your Organization's EA Administrator: Since your organization has an EA, there might be specific policies or procedures in place for using Azure credits. Your EA administrator or IT department can provide guidance on how to apply your personal Azure credits within the organization's Azure environment.
- Create a new subscription: If you do not already have a subscription that is not covered by the Enterprise Agreement, you can create a new subscription. You can do this by going to the Azure portal, selecting "Subscriptions" from the menu, and then selecting "Add" to create a new subscription.
- Apply the credit: Once you have created a new subscription, you can apply the $50 Azure monthly credit to the subscription. You can do this by going to the Azure portal, selecting "Cost Management + Billing" from the menu, and then selecting "Payment methods". You can then select "Add a payment method" and enter the credit information.
- Use the credit: You can use the credit to offset the costs of resources that are not covered by the Enterprise Agreement. You can do this by creating and using resources in the new subscription that you created.
- Reach Out to Azure Support: If you’re still unable to use the credit, contact Azure Billing and Subscription Management support. Provide details about your Visual Studio subscription, your EA enrollment, and the issues you’re encountering. Support can offer guidance or alternative solutions.
