I am currently learning Azure AI services through Microsoft resources, which include exercises that require the use of Azure Studio. However, I am encountering an issue with multiple tenant accounts on my Azure subscription. One of these tenants is associated with my previous employer. Whenever I attempt to access Azure Studio, it prompts me to log in to this specific tenant instead of my default one. Since I have left that organization and changed my cell phone, I no longer have access to the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) needed for that tenant. As a result, I am unable to proceed with my learning exercises. I would appreciate assistance in removing the outdated tenant account, allowing me to focus on my studies with Azure, which I consider the leading cloud service provider.

    @Satyajit Senapati

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    As I understand you are in the process of learning new Azure services and when you are trying to login to Azure, you are getting an MFA prompt. While you login to Azure with your account, it is routing you to tenant which is tied to your previous organization and currently you cannot satisfy MFA as you have changed your Phone.

    If you are trying to login to any specific tenant, you can try logging in to URL https://portal.azure.com/<Your tenant name>.onmicrosoft.com>

    This will directly take you to tenant you want to access.

    If you want to other tenants to which your account has access to then you can follow below instructions.

    Usually, you can delete the tenant only if you are Global Admin in the tenant. However, if you want to remove the tenant from your managed list then you can follow below steps,

    You can follow below steps to leave the organization that you want.

    You're using a personal account, you'll need to use a My Account URL that includes your tenant's name or tenant ID. For example: if you tenant name is contoso.onmicrosoft.com then you will have to go to URL https://myaccount.microsoft.com?tenantId=contoso.onmicrosoft.com. You might need to open this URL in a private browser session.

    Click Organizations from the left navigation pane or select the Manage organizations link from the Organizations block.

    User's image

    Home organization: Your home organization is listed first. This organization owns your work or school account. Because your account is managed by your administrator, you're not allowed to leave your home organization. You'll see there's no link to Leave. If you don't have an assigned home organization, you'll just see a single heading that says Organizations with the list of your associated organizations.

    Other organizations you collaborate with: You'll also see the other organizations that you've signed in to previously using your work or school account. You can decide to leave any of these organizations at any time.

    You can click on leave button in front of the organization which ever you want to leave.

    Let me know if you have any further questions.
