Hi,

For a Blob storage with access tier set to "Cool" , if the data gets deleted before 30 days, where do I see the deletion penalty i.e which meter reflects the deletion penalty charges?

    Hello Oruganti, Sudhamayi,

    Thanks for your question.

    1. Under Cost Management + Billing, go to Billing and select Invoices.
    2. Review the invoice details to find specific charges related to Blob Storage.
    3. The deletion penalty is usually reflected in the Blob Storage related entries.

Hello @Oruganti, Sudhamayi Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

Sorry for the delayed response. You can call this Retail Price API and get all the meters for storage early delete penalty charges:

https://prices.azure.com/api/retail/prices?$filter=serviceName eq 'Storage' and contains(meterName, 'Early Delete')

Hope this helps. Please write back to us if you have any further questions!
