For public Teams Live Events, capturing email addresses of attendees is not possible by default. Public events allow anyone with the link to join without logging in, so their email addresses are not recorded.
If a Teams Live Event is set to “inside Org,” only users within your organization can attend. They will need to log in with their organizational Teams account to access the event.
While you cannot directly distribute files during a Teams Live Event, you can share links to files stored in OneDrive or SharePoint. Attendees can then access these files through the links provided.
