How to hide the SharePoint Configuration version number from when view the page source
SiteTemplate: Team Site Classic & PWA#0 Site template has only this information showing in page view source
also below variable also showing this information
var _spPageContextInfo= siteClientTag showing SharePoint Configuration version
Site Template is Classis Team Site

Thanks allen, config version information coming only in templates Team sites classic and pwa#0 ,i checked in master page i did not found from where this infomrmation loading, please can you gudie is it from any site template file from web server _layouts folder

As per my research, I'm afraid hiding the SharePoint Configuration version from page source is currently impossible in SharePoint world.
