I had already cancelled my visual studio subscription, but a charge for July was still processed.

I was previously subscribed to Visual Studio subscription (monthly) and was using it. I cancelled the subscription through Azure subscription. After that, I noticed that I could no longer download Visual Studio, so I assumed the cancellation was successful. However, I was still charged for last month's usage. I'm not sure of the exact date I cancelled the subscription, but it was at least a month ago. Despite this, the full charge for July was still deducted from my card.

The most frustrating part of this situation is that I don't know where to inquire about this issue, and it's extremely difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem.

As you can see below, the azure subscription has been stopped, but there's no way to confirm when this stoppage occurred.

As shown in the image below, I no longer have download rights for Visual Studio tools (because I cancelled the subscription).

I need to receive a refund, but I'm not sure where to direct my inquiry. Is there another way to verify if my subscription has indeed been cancelled?

Could you please advise me on how to proceed with this issue and where I should contact for a refund and clarification?

    Hello yong lee,

    Thanks for your question.

To view your Visual Studio subscriptions invoice:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal.
    2. Select the Cost Management + Billing blade in the menu to find an overview, list of subscriptions, and invoices.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/subscriptions/faq/admin/renewal-cancellation/

I'd also recommend contacting Visual Studio support directly. They should be able to verify your cancellation date and subscription status. See:

    Regards,

    Abiola
