Taking VM Snapshots (including memory snapshot) in AVS

Just wanted to check whether the ability to take VM snapshots (including memory snapshot) exists in AVS?

This should be supported as part of VMware vSphere. Third-party backup solutions are also available. As well as Azure Backup for Azure VMware Solution.
