Using Audacity program, I record a sound signal. From time to time, the interruptions of the recording signal take place. Although the intervals of interruption are small enough, they broke the continuity of the phase of the recording signal. The broken continuity of the recording signal complicates subsequent signal processing. I hope the recording in the safe mode can eliminate the problem. Or maybe my problem has another solution?

Your issue with Audacity causing intermittent interruptions in the recording signal is a common problem.

    Suggestions:

    Update audio driver.

    Update Audacity.

Try using a lower sample rate (e.g., 44100 Hz instead of 96000 Hz) to reduce processing load.

In Audacity, go to Edit > Preferences > Devices and select ASIO as the Host.

    Hello

Safe mode run with minimal services.

We may try to work with clean boot if we suspect third party services conflict.

Or try to use autorun tools to remove the third party autorun services or drivers.
