How do I upgrade a newly free Azure account to Pay-As-You-Go when the upgrade button is not showing

I just created a new Azure account today. I actually wanted to create the pay-as-you-go subscription but it ended up as an Azure 1 subscription (free trial). I would like to upgrade to the pay-as-you-go immediately because I need access to the Office 365 admin center. Please how do I go about this? The upgrade button in subscriptions is not showing. I can only see the option to cancel the subscription. I need assistance please. I would appreciate if I can upgrade to pay-as-you-go immediately.

    Hello Folashade,

    Thanks for your question.

    • To upgrade, you can follow the steps below:
Sign in to the Azure portal.
    • Search for Subscriptions.
    • Select the subscription that was created when you signed up for Azure free account.
    • In the subscription overview, select Upgrade subscription in the command bar. If you don't see the upgrade subscription option, select the upgrade banner at the top of the page.
    • If you don't have a payment method for your account, you're prompted to add one.
    • You might need to enter a phone number to verify your identity.
    • Type a name for your subscription.
    • Select Upgrade.
