Hello All,
I have an issue after upgrading from SCCM v1910 to v2002, then to v2006. I can not update the admin console after the update.

After the update, I am now prompted to install a new version of the admin console...

When I try to install the new admin console, it errors out with this...

Attached is also the error log...

Can anyone help me get the admin console re-installed and working?
Thank you in advanace!

AJ

    Hi All,
I just updated to Configuration Manager 2010 and it seems to have cleared up the issue. The new console installed fine, and I no longer have any banners indicating there is a problem. So, I think I'm good to go!

I appreciate everyone of you who took the time to read, respond, and try to help!

    Happy Holidays!

    AJ

    Hi @AJ Hawkes ,

After a quick investigation in the log file, there is a mismatch in the hash of some downloaded binaries.
I suggest to you to uninstall the console, then install it using "<Configuration Manager site server installation path>\Tools\ConsoleSetup" folder.

You can find more details in the following official doc:

    @AJ Hawkes
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I have encountered this similar question few days ago, it could be due to the following files were never added to the listed console installation sources:

    ConfigMgr.AC_Extension.amd64.cab
    ConfigMgr.AC_Extension.i386.cab

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\bin\i386
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\tools\ConsoleSetup

And for 2006 with the latest hotfix, here is the the payload from which the .cab files can be extracted in SMSSETUP\bin\i386:

    Thanks All,
I have gotten the console to upgrade, however, it now says "A required component is out of sync with your site", and when trying to click the link to install the new console version, it fails with the same log file as before.
