Need help configuring OpenAI connection on Copilot, specifically Conversational Boosting topic, Create generative answers topic.

I have two seperate projects/deployments in Azure AI Studio.

First deployment, I used 'Add knowledge' from within Azure AI Studio project itself. Add data>Upload a file. File in question is a docx file. A project index with a weird name was automatically created. Query behaves as expected in chat playgound.

For the second deployment, I created an AI Search service in Azure Portal. I imported the same docx document into the AI Search service from Azure Portal, and created an index in Azure Portal as well. Query behaves as expected when testing in Azure Portal/Index. In AI Studio, Add knowledge, and instead of 'upload a file', selected Azure AI Search as source, and selected the index created in Azure Portal from a dropdown. Query behaves as expected in chat playgound.

Back to copilot, under Conversation boosting>Created Generative Answers>OpenAI Connection properties. I have configured deployment name, API version (obtained from chat playground 'view code', and index name. All other settings are default. No error generated/encountered. However, neither configurations for the two deployments described above work.

Can anyone advise on this?
