How to add Data Product "Type" on the list view in Purview?

As indicated in the MS Purview document in Data Product Types that can be used for filter data product.

I could not find the setting to select Data Product "Type" on the Data Product list view or filter option. It will be good to be able to sort data product by "Type".

I understand that you are looking for a way to filter or sort data products by type in Azure Purview. However, currently, there is no option to filter or sort data products by type in Azure Purview.

The Data Product Types mentioned in the Microsoft Purview document are used to categorize data products based on their characteristics and usage. However, this information is not currently used for filtering or sorting data products in Azure Purview.

That being said, you can still search for data products using keywords or metadata properties. You can also use the search bar to filter data products based on their name, description, or other metadata properties.

Many thanks for your feedback and the hint on how to search by data product type. Yes, I can be able to search now for the data type value "Dataset and Dashboards/Reports". Somehow data product with the value "Master data and reference data" does not list when I search.
