Microsoft Teams Secure Score not Syncing

I followed the instructions for disabling anonymous access to Teams meetings as described in the Secure score instructions. This change was made in late July. It is now mid August and the change has yet to be reflected in the Secure score. Other than opening a ticket is there any other remediation options?

    Hello @jpcapone,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that you've followed the recommended actions for the Secure Score item "Restrict anonymous users from joining meetings" by logging into the Microsoft Teams admin center, navigating to Meetings > Meeting Settings, and toggling the “Anonymous users can join a meeting” option to Off under the Participants section.

However, it seems the Secure Score has not yet been updated to reflect these changes.

Please note that the Last Sync column does not always reflect daily updates from all workloads. Some workloads only send data when there is a change in the score or at specific intervals. For Microsoft Teams, the data typically syncs once a month, and the recommendation state is refreshed during this monthly sync.

Since you made these changes in late July, I recommend waiting another week to see if the Secure Score recommendation state updates accordingly.User's image
