Student account --- Do I need to be concerned about MFA for tenants?

Question

I got an email that Microsoft is moving to MFA for tenants. I have a Azure subscription from when I was in college, but I never log in anymore. I do see I have access to Azure portal and can create resource groups/resources.

I'm confused --- do I need to do anything about the MFA settings?

If you don’t, your users will be required to set up MFA.

Since it was created with you being a student, you will simply be prompted to signup for MFA when next u login after that date.
