How do I add and sync MS Teams Calendar to my Mac OS Calendar if my Microsoft Account password is not recognized?

I am a lifelong Apple user and just recently am incorporating MS Teams into by applications. I followed the instructions for how to add the MS Teams (MS Account) calendar to my Mac calendar. However, when prompted to enter my account information to access the MS Exchange, my password and/or my user information was not recognized.

Where do I log into to address this?

Is your MS account a personal account?

If your account is a personal account, you may not have the appropriate Exchange license to link your account.

Please use the Outlook option when selecting the connection method.
