Sideloading office excel add-in does not list add-in in shared folder

Question

I am trying to sideload add-in by following the steps in the link here.

I am able to add the manifest file in the shared network and update the shared network path trusted add-in catalogs. However when i open excel and navigate to Insert Menu > Get My Add-ins > Shared Folder, there are no add-in listed even though the manifest file is available in the shared network path.

Please can anyone let me know if i am missing anything.

We are mainly responsible for general issues of Excel desktop applications, but your question is more related to sideloading of add-in.
