Hello,

We have been asked to generate a report on 'Time taken for a user to login on a server through Active Directory'. As per our understanding it is basically the time from user hit enter after typing the password and the authentication succeeds. We planned tried to create a test user on AD and automate it to login every 15 minutes and capture/store the time taken for authentication at every poll.

However, we could not find any such command to capture that time. As per our AD team, it is not practically possible to get that info and could be possible only through network traffic capturing tools(which isnt feasible for us at this moment)

I do not have expertise in AD and just wanted to check if any of you have done this already using any command of if there are any other ways to do it without using any traffic capturing tools.

Thanks,

Saravanan
