    Hi,

This is repairable though you may need technical help.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This is serious error and "may" not be repairable without professional tech support from

a real computer shop (not leeks and peeks at a BestBuy or other BigBox Stores) or your

    System maker's Support.

Here are the troubleshooting methods to try to fix the issue : (The fix for corrupt is basically the same

as for the boot manager is missing.)

Try Startup Repair - (If at ANY point you gain some but not full access to Windows come

back and try Startup Repair again.)

Thanks for your comment-unfortunately Thomas doesn't have use of legs so wont pass your very un-helpful thoughts on to him-why on earth would you post that on such a website forum?

Since this forum is not the proper place for technical questions (as stated near the top

of the forum), and since I would have no way to know of the state of Thomas and his need

for the computer, and therefore thought a little humor might not hurt, I said what I said.

Under the circumstances I do apologize to you and to Thomas. As it turns out someone

(SpiritX) has given you some information as to where and how to solve your problem. I

sincerely hope that information is helpful.

I got same problem yesterday, I got 'BOOTMGR image is corrupt. System cannot boot' message. I've already do everythings I can, but no result.

I got a cd titled 'Toshiba Notebook Driver - Satellite L740/L745 Series - Win 7 Driver Installation',  but I still just got that message.

I also boot my laptop with System  Recovery Disk, but it saya that some part called 'msrpc.sys' is missing and I need to reinstall using Windows 7 Installation Disk. The problem is the manufacturer didn't include it in my laptop's pack.

I really need your help, sir.
