List item restore version does not work on current approved version

Question

If a SharePoint list item has been approved and changes are made after, you can restore the current approved version using the online UI. But trying to do this with the restoreVersion endpoint returns "You cannot restore the current version". This should be a valid request to match the UI behavior.
