Error of "gaf" character in Visual Studio

Hi

Dear Microsoft Q&A Team

Writing of "گ" (the twnety-sixth character of Persian alphabet) has error in Visual Studio. Can you help me?

I can't submit this error in "Report a problem" of Visual Studio. Please don't close my question.

What is the error? Can you describe it more closely? Maybe a short video could help to illustrate?

During investigations, did you try to paste the “گ” from Clipboard, or to edit the same code file using Notepad?

Please try to change your font from Cascadia Mono to Consolas by navigating to Tools > Options > Environment > Fonts and Colors > Font (bold type indicates fixed-width fonts):

Then, check if the Persian character is displayed correctly.

Hi

I don't like Consolas font. Isn't it supposed to be done with the original font?

Apart from that you don't like the font, does things work properly with Consolas?

(I will need to confess that I was not really able to understand the animation. Blame that on my compete lack of knowledge of Farsi.)
