Opening and reading PDF files in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
After the update, I cant use the read-aloud function to read pdf files. I tried to restore the previous version of the app but did not work. How can I remove the update for the app without uninstalling the system update?

Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are unable to use the Read Aloud feature for PDF files in Microsoft Edge.
I would like to inform you that few PDF features like table of contents, page layouts, read aloud, text notes, and highlighter pen are under development. For more information, see Features currently not available in the new Microsoft Edge.
You may want to check the programs and features section and see if the Microsoft Edge update is available to uninstall. To access programs and features section, type appwiz.cpl in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.
I would also appreciate if you could provide feedback and suggestions so that our developing team can look into the suggestions and constantly improve the features. You can Open Microsoft Edge. Click on the Settings & More Ellipsis (…) on the right hand corner and then, select Help & Feedback and select Send Feedback.
