Start a teams meeting from iPad

Hello,

I am unable to start a new meeting in the teams app on my iPad. I have the options to add pictures, attach files, or tag someone, but there is no start meeting button. I can join an already started meeting on my iPad but I do not have the option to initiate a meeting. Is that feature only available on the desktop application??

Yes, that feature is only available on the desktop version, it happens to me as well on my android device.

    There's no button to immediately start a meeting in Teams mobile, but you can start a meeting by scheduling it ahead of time. Please check the link below:

    Using the link above to create a meeting for myself, I do not have the option on my ipad to add people.  I can only create the event.
