How to remove "Connected Services" on my office 365? Dont want to see the files between computers

Hi,

I have a work office 365 account; I used the account on my personal laptop to have access to Microsoft word, excel and power point.  But now I see all the work documents and presentations via "OneDrive" and "Site":

How do I disable the "Connected Services" : "OneDrive" and "Site" on my personal computer? I don't want to mix the two and would live to remove the Connected Services on my personal computer.

I'm glad to help you.

If you want to disable the connected service, you can block sign in with Registry Editor. But in this way, you are not able to sign in with any accounts. If you still want to do that, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to your Registry Editor(Win + R > input regedit)
2. Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Internet\UseOnlineContent
3. Set the value to 0.

If you can't find the file named "UseOnlineContent", right click>New>DWORD (32-bit) Value>Name it to be “UseOnlineContent”>Double click it and set the value to “0” to disable the sign in.

WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Edit at your own risk.

Hi Rozi,

The account you sign in is different from the account you use to activate your Office, they are independent. Also I have tested the value won’t affect Office update, so don't worry about the updating feature, and you can change the value to get back your sign-in function at any time.

I was going to do now, one question i can always set the value back and sign in with accounts correct?
